I lucked out and managed to get a second go at Christmas this year (this time with healthy and happy children!). My brother is a police office and lives a few provinces away and as such wasn't able to make it home until the new year. He came with his girlfriend whom we hadn't yet met (and whom we love love love). We waited until he came home to have our traditional Christmas turkey dinner and so we had a second Christmas with him! We also had the pleasure of including our new friend (from my previous post) and were able to give him a taste of Christmas too (we love him too and are ready to just make him part of the family!).
My brother decided to obtain the title of "World's BEST Uncle" this year and gave my nephews a quad for Christmas!
We had tons of fun opening gifts again.
And eating way too much!
We seriously had so much fun! We even managed to get a night out out The Keg(sans husbands and kidlets) and a day in at WEM to ride the rides, see some monkeys and watch the sea lion show.
The kids just love their uncle and his gorgeous lady. We sure do wish they lived closer but we loved every minute of the time we got to spend together for Christmas part 2!!!!
I'm glad things all worked out in the end. That's all that matters, right?
