Crib-less

We had a big moment in our house this weekend. After 4 years of having a crib in our house (and a couple of those years having 2 cribs on the go at the same time) we took down the crib. My little Buddy finally transitioned over to a big boy bed! We had tried a couple weeks with a toddler bed back in the fall but decided to go back to the crib for a while after a few rough nights......lol. Luckily our little guy had never tried to climb out of the crib until just last week so we decided it was time to move on up!
It seems like just yesterday that I put my little Buddy down to sleep in his crib for the first time.

JA LOVES his bed and is so excited to sleep in it (12 hours straight each night with no issues at bed time).

Thanks to our sweet friends the B family for giving us this adorable bedding after their son was done with it.

While reworking JA's room we came across this great shelf at Lowes to house the insane amount of books our children have and the plethora of cars this boy has.
The kids love their new "library" corner and have spent a lot of time playing here this weekend. (AL tried to convince me to allow them to switch bedrooms....hahaha)

It has been fun to start to see a little boys room take shape this weekend.

  1. so cute Sheri!! Love his room!! Kids rooms are my favorite. They're so fun to decorate and organize...you did a fabulous job! Maguire has been climbing out of his crib too lately (he started at 10 months old!) so we have been discussing what to do with his space. So cute!
