I love when Family day and Valentines all occur at the same time! A long weekend with those I love most is always a favorite.
We kept it simple this year and headed down to the lake to enjoy the festivities and skating. It was crazy windy but the weather was glorious as it has been all month!
We got in some skating, treats and photo booth fun along with making maple taffy. Eventually we ended up playing in the big snow piles of the lake tossing snowballs and making snowmen. I wish I could capture the sounds of the laughter and hold onto them forever. A good good day.
