We did a little pre-father's celebration last week since my parents are now on holidays. It was kind of nice making today all about Daddy!
The kids were so excited to shower him with little gifts the second they woke up. A couple framed handmade water colors to hang up at work, a jar of treats for work and a beautiful clay plate. True treasures.
We made him breakfast in bed (once AL forced him back into bed) and the kids enjoyed every minute of helping him eat it *wink*
The kids sang some adorable songs to their Daddy at church; always melt worthy.
We made Daddy's favorite dinner and had his mom over to join us. Now he is proofreading his school paper one last time before he submits it. (No rest for this guy)
I can't even tell you how amazing T is. He works so hard day and night and always walks in the door with a smile and energy for us all. His patience is unreal and his love for his children can be seen in all that he does. We sure do love him!
