Parade firsts

As it turns out my kids have never watched a parade.  The large ones held here downtown, on week days, that require going super early and on public transit hold little appeal to me when daddy is working.  This morning we attended a very small town parade close to here.  Right before it started the rain poured down but that didn't deter my little parade goers!  They loved every minute of watching the entertainment and catching candy.  I have a hunch this might be an annual event for us.
