Quote of the day

When we drove by JA's school today (which is held in a large church) I commented on the fact a funeral was taking place which led to a bit of a chat.  Tonight we drove past the cemetery as we left the farmer's market and more conversation about life and death began.  My children seem to be very aware that their dog won't live forever but it was like tonight was the first time it dawned on them that any of us might die!
JA: mom I dont want you to ever die.
Me: oh don't worry sweetheart I am planning to live for a very long time.
JA: But I won't know which way to drive my car so I can find you in Heaven mom.
