After an exhausting week with zero sleep, all 3 children slept for 11 hrs. This sunrise pretty much reflected how happy my heart was!
Poor JA caught the nasty cold his brother is slowly starting to get over. He ran with me to the hardware store for some light clips and on the way home fell asleep in the car at 10am (this kid never ever naps). He then passed out on the couch just a few hrs later. Poor guy.
We managed to get the lights hung and T managed not to fall off the roof in the process.
WR seemed a little more like his whirlwind self this afternoon. He is soooooooo busy. One of his favorite things to do is pull the step stool out from the pantry and drag it all over to get into even more mischief. Good thing he is cute.
The odd flake of snow started flying as we finished off outside and the coziness of winter started to settle in. We even lit the fire for the first time. For now I'll just try to enjoy the warm feeling that come with the first snow; the hot chocolate and movie night we had and the snuggle time. (My feelings will change come January)
By the end of the day the snow started to stick and our street is looking a lot like Christmas with all the lights that went up today. Funny how much can change in just one day!

Ahhh! I love your lights!!!!!!! Good thing your kids are getting some sleep when they can. So so so sorry your week was sleepless.
